On the occasion of the commemoration of Sir Sewoosagur Ramgoolam, GCMG LRCP MRCS, the Dr A.G. Jeetoo Hospital representing the Ministry of Health and Wellness and in collaboration with the Mauritius Museums Council, organized a Health Awareness Campaign at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Memorial Centre for Culture at Plaine Verte on 17 September 2025.
Public talks were delivered by doctors on preventive measures to be followed by patients suffering from non-communicable diseases such as different cancer , blood pressure and diabetic patients. Health check-up was also offered to public by nurses and advice were also given by a doctor after a consultation.
