The theme for \u201d International Museum Day \u201d for year 2013 was : \u201cMuseums ( Memory + creativity) = Social change\u201d. In the context of the International Museums Day-2013, the following activities were held:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
An Exhibition on \u201cHORNS AND ANTLERS\u201d was held at the MAURITIUS INSTITUTE BUILDING, Chaus\u00e9e Port Louis as from 22 May 2013 for a period of one month.
A painting Exhibition on Historical Mahebourg at the National History Musuem, Mahebourg. A prize giving ceremony was also held on this occasion..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Chineese Cultural Centre in collaboration with the Mauriitus Museums Council held an Exhibition on \u201d Chineese Calligraphy\u201d as from 18th to 22th October 2013 at the Exhibition Gallery of the Mauritius Museums Council, Chauss\u00e9e Port Louis.
